Code of Conduct
Toyota Arena is committed to providing every guest a safe and memorable experience.
- Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional, and courteous manner by all venue personnel.
- Guests shall treat other guests, performers, venue personnel, and the venue property with respect.
- Guests will enjoy every event free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
- Guests who engage in disruptive behavior (including foul/abusive language or obscene gestures), fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the court/stage will be immediately ejected from the venue without refund or reimbursement.
- Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. Management reserves the right to deny entry into the venue and/or refuse service to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication. Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
- All bags and purses may not exceed 12” x 12” in dimension to be allowed in the venue.
- Any action that is illegal, unruly, causes a disruption, creates an unsafe environment, or interferes with the event, including throwing or dropping any object on the field or performance area, entering restricted areas, or any conduct deemed inappropriate or dangerous to fans, players, participants, officials, or facility staff.
- Actions that impair others' ability to enjoy the event, including mistreatment of other guests, physical or verbal abuse, harassment, profanity, confrontation, intimidation, or threatening and irresponsible behavior
- Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
- Guests who encourage fighting, throwing objects, or attempt to gain access to the performance area, stage, backstage, or other secure spaces will immediately be ejected from the venue.
- Guests will not smoke in the venue. Toyota Arena is a smoke-free venue.
- Guests will not wear clothes or bring signs that promote or display obscene or indecent messages or gestures.
- Guests will comply with requests from venue staff regarding venue operations and emergency response procedures.
- Guests will be able to communicate instantly, discretely, and directly with Guest Services if assistance is needed in dealing with an unruly guest, clean-up in their section, or any issues and concerns that a guest may feel the need to report.
- Guests who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund and, to the extent their conduct constitutes violation of the law, may be subject to arrest.
- Legally protected speech is only permitted in designated areas and must conform to all other Code of Conduct Guidelines.
- Any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted. No political messaging of any kind is permitted regardless of political affiliation or position.
- There is no loitering, tailgating or illegal vending in Arena parking areas during or after the event. All Arena parking lots are cleared one hour after the end of the event.
- Damage, destruction, vandalism, or theft of any property.
- Guests are responsible for their own good time by immediately reporting inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher or building liaison.
- Any other conduct deemed by the venue to be inappropriate to the peace and good order of events or which may adversely affect the safety or persons, or property will be handled by arena staff in its sole discretion.
Toyota Arena staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest Usher, Security Officer, or Guest Services Team Member. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, season ticket holders may also be subject to having their season subscription revoked and may also be in violation of the City of Ontario ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution. If you feel that our staff does not address any issues to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a supervisor or Manager immediately. Venue Management reserves the right to approve, adjust, or enforce any policy at their discretion.
Prohibited Items
For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. All entry constitutes consent to search. Illegal items will be confiscated and turned over to the police. If a guest is found inside the venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated, and the guest may be ejected from the facility.
The following items are not permitted:
- Animals/Pets (except service animals)
- Balloons, Beach Balls or Related Items
- Backpacks / Knapsacks / Multi-Zipper bags of any kind
- Bags or Purses (size limit of 12” x 12”)
- Chains, Studded Bracelets, etc.
- Coolers or Ice Chests
- Large Bags and Purses
- Professional Photography Equipment, Tripods, Monopods and Selfie Sticks
- Projectiles
- Signs, flags, banners and posters larger than 11”x 17”
- Skateboards, Rollerblades, Bikes, etc.
- Sticks, Bats, Poles or Clubs
- Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, handbills, etc.
- Weapons of any kind (i.e. pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
- Aerosol cans, including mace, pepper spray, hair spray, etc.
- Audio or visual recording devices (with lens more than 6" in length), including GoPro, Google Glass, etc.
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, hoverboards and segways
- Commercial audio or video recording equipment
- Drones and unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV)
- Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs and devices, pyrotechnics, and any missile-like object
- Hard-sided containers, including bottles, cans, flasks, coolers and thermoses
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Inappropriate or offensive attire or signage, including gang insignia, obscenities, inflammatory statements and any threatening or taunting messages
- Laptops, tablets (including iPads and Kindles), personal computers, or two-way radios
- Laser lights, strobes, flashlights or any other visual impairment device
- Noisemakers of any kind, including air horns, bells, bullhorns, thunder sticks, whistles, and vuvuzelas
- Outside food or beverages, including liquids of any kind
- Portable chairs, seat cushions, child seats, and strollers
Any Other Item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue in its sole discretion. This list is subject to change at any time by management. Thank you for your cooperation.
