ONTARIO – (November 16, 2022) As we near the busy holiday season the following locations in Ontario will be crusading for socks!  Ontario Convention Center, Toyota Arena, and the California Welcome Center at Ontario Mills.  From November 15 to December 15 donations of new, unwrapped socks for men, women, and children will be accepted.  The socks will be donated to the Foothill Family Shelter.

One of the most requested items by our homeless community is socks" said Michael Krouse, President and CEO. "We have the opportunity to provide a drop off place at our venues during this busy time of the year and we hope everyone joins us in making a donation."

Employees of the venues will join in the efforts, along with the attendees of several events during the holidays.  Donation boxes will be available at the following:

  • 12/3 - Tree Lighting Ceremony at Ontario Town Square
  • 12/10 - Christmas on Euclid Craft Fair and Festival at Ontario Town Square

Businesses and service clubs are invited to gather donations for drop off at any of the venues or events.  Travelers Aid at Ontario Airport has already committed to participate.  Help our local family shelter with a donation today.
