Toyota Arena partners with Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio to provide an authentic drink experience
ONTARIO, California, May 13, 2024 – “Nuestro placer” translates to “our pleasure,” and it’s Toyota Arena’s pleasure to announce a five-year partnership with the tequila company that bears that name to provide its premier brands during concerts and events at the popular 11,000-seat venue.
The agreement with Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio provides the third-generation family-owned business with top-shelf visibility, including a rebranding of the bar on the west end of the arena. There and throughout the arena, Nuestro Placer’s two brands (its namesake and Tequila Turincio) will be included on drink menus. The company also will be able to conduct tequila tastings and other unique patron promotions.
“We are pleased to partner with Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio in providing guests and tequila aficionados with two products they’re going to love, while also supporting a business whose commitment to authentic tequila production has helped make it a sought-after brand,” said Gus Le Grand, General Manager of Toyota Arena.
The partnership comes as Tequila Nuestro Placer and Tequila Turincio are being rolled out throughout California, Colorado and Texas at retailers, restaurants, hotels, bars and lounges along with online sales. The company sees a tremendous opportunity to increase its visibility at Toyota Arena, given the venue’s success in attracting some of the most popular Latino artists in the world.
“We couldn’t be happier with support we have received from Toyota Arena team and believe this partnership will be a win for everyone,” said Eddson De Anda Mojica, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio
The company started out growing and harvesting blue agave – the plant used to produce tequila – in Los Altos de Jalisco – the home of the tequila industry. It eventually got into the distilling business, producing tequila for other companies before launching its own brands. Its authenticity is the key, company officials said.
“We have the land, we have the agave, we have the distillery. Why not put it all together and do it all the right way,” said Jose Luis Moreno, Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio’s Chief Operating Officer. “While many companies and celebrities have gotten into the tequila business, what sets us apart is our commitment to making tequila the way it should be, like our ancestors made it, along with controlling the process from planting of agave to the distilling and bottling of the tequila. This allows us to protect and maintain the quality of our product.”
Julio Gudino, Tequila Nuestro Placer & Turincio’s Chief Marketing Officer, praised the Toyota Arena’s vision in helping forge the partnership.
“The team from the top down has been amazing to work with. We are so pleased to be working with an arena that has such strong name recognition, and believes, as we do, that integrity matters,” he said.
